MISSION STATEMENT: The Downtown youth and family ministry exists to help young people find and establish what they believe. To provide a safe and friendly environment where one can belong. And to challenge and encourage young people to become mature Christian adults.

The teen program (grades 7-12) is active in a number of areas, including weekly Bible studies, frequent devotionals, trips to youth rally’s, summer camp, retreats, mission trips. The main emphasis is on God, and building community with each other.

We also have an active group of 3-6^th graders called Kids for Christ(KFC). The KFC has monthly activities as well as combined family and teen activities. Summer camp is a major opportunity for growth and fun each year. 

A large emphasis is put on the family in our program. In these formative years it is important to help nurture family relationships, while building bonds in God’s family. This is accomplished by special family activities as well as monthly family devotionals.

Visitation and Cards

Our visitation program provides an updated list of  members and visitors so that visits or a card can be written.  Cards are also provided for this ministry.

A ministry serving the needs of the senior Christians in our congregation.  This group enjoys game night and various trips and outings.

Ladies Ministry

Fall and Spring Ladies' Retreat, Wednesday Morning Ladies Class

Leadership Training for Christ stimulates spiritual, mental, and social growth in young men and women in grades 3 through 12. This growth is a result of developing skills in leadership, Bible knowledge, and Christian servanthood. Participants learn to live the servant leadership lifestyle. The Great Plains Convention serves churches of Christ in Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas.
